This revised draft assessment of the possible health hazards from human exposure to diesel exhaust emissions updates three earlier drafts (1994, 1998, 1999) that were reviewed by the EPA Science Advisory Board's Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC). The current draft assessment characterizes the possible human health hazards and related exposure-response aspects of those hazards related to environmental exposure to diesel exhaust.
