Impact/Purpose:

Workshop Agenda and presentations will be available on Office of Science Policy Web site. It will be used to educate EPA staff and managers on the scientific and technical issues in air toxics exposure assessment. Follow-up activities are being planned.

Description:

Approximately, one hundred scientists from ORD, OAR, Regional offices, and invited external presentors met for a three day conference in Region 9 offices in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Winona Victery, Science Advisor in Region 9 and Dr. David Klauder, ORD/OSP program manager worked with key regional staff (Motria Poshyvanck, R5, Dr. Ken Mitchell, R4, Randall Robinson (R5), Alan Vanarsdale, R1, and Dr. Periann Wood, R9 worked to define the agenda, working with several key ORD contacts (Tim Watkins,NERL, Paul Shapiro, NCER), OAQPS (Joe Touma , Neil Frank and Ted Palma), and Chad Bailey, OTAG). Workshop presentations and meeting summary will be available on OSP's intranet site (see below). Other workshop products are currently under discussion with workshop organizers.
