Description:
The letter to the editor was written to point out that different forms of arsenic are found in source waters and that the technologies listed in the article such as POU RO will not necessarily be effective on all waters. The letter pointed out that most technologies are more effective for As III than for As V. The letter stresses the need for technology dealers to speciated the arsenic in the source water before recommending a treatment method and that the dealers should be well educated on the chemistry for arsenic and the capablilities of different technologies to remove arsenic.
