Description:

This data set is a GIS coverage of the stream flow basin characteristics for drainage basins of selected US Geological Survey (USGS) gauging stations the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Mid-Atlantic Integrated Assessment (MAIA) Project region. This data set includes elevation of gauging station, forested area of the basin, mean annual precipitation, 2-year peak flow (cfs), average flow, and 7-day 10-year low flow data. The coverage was produced using 1986 data from USGS WATSTORE files. The MAIA study region was selected from larger coverage using the eight digit MAIA hydrologic unit coverage. This vector based coverage is at a map scale of 1:2,000,000. The data set was produced as part of the USEPAs Regional Vulnerability Assessment
