Description:

A series of six tests was performed on wastes (fluff and contaminated soil) from the M.W. Manufacturing Superfund Site to determine the efficacy of incineration as the proposed remediation technology. he fluff, which is the insulation from scrap wire, and the soil wastes are contaminated with volatile and semivolatile organic compounds and high concentrations of copper and lead. wo kiln gas exit temperatures were used for the tests. his Project Summary was developed to announce key findings of the test program. est results are detailed in the project report of the same title.
