Description:

In recent years, employees at the three headquarters buildings ofthe U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the Washington,DC, area have expressed concerns about air quality and workenvironment discomforts. n February 1989, a two-stage study ofhealth and comfort concerns and physical characteristics of theenvironment was undertaken to assess the nature and spatialdistribution of employee health symptoms and comfort concerns in anattempt to determine if associations exist between employeeresponses and specific workplace conditions. his report presentsa descriptive summary of the results of a questionnaire survey ofall EPA Headquarters employees.
