Description:
The Municipal Environmental Research Laboratory is EPA's research component for the development of technology, systems and processes to combat environmental pollutants that trouble our communities and municipalities. The report discusses the development and demonstration of cost-effective pollution control methods in the areas of sewage and wastewaters, solid and hazardous wastes, public drinking water supplies, and urban systems management. Although some of its content is technical, the report is written to be informative for a wide management audience in the business and industry, education, and government, and others who are interested in the environment and related fields.
