MODULATION OF HEAT FLUX BY DIFFERENT SCALES OF ADVECTION IN AN URBAN ENVIRONMENT

Citation:

Ching, Jason K.S., J. Clark, AND J. Godowitch. MODULATION OF HEAT FLUX BY DIFFERENT SCALES OF ADVECTION IN AN URBAN ENVIRONMENT. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, D.C., EPA/600/J-82/054 (NTIS PB83241257).

Description:

Heat flux data from the USEPA Regional Air Pollution Study in St. Louis are presented. Large spatial variations exist on both a land use scale and the urban scale. The analyses of these data includes an examination of the fetch requirements for representative eddy correlation measurements of heat flux in an urban environment.
