Impact/Purpose:

The purpose of this presentation is to provide an update on EPA's PFAS research and development activities to the Tribal PFAS Working Group during an April 11, 2024, meeting of the working group.

Description:

Per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are an urgent public health and environmental issue facing communities across the United States. In 2021, EPA released the PFAS Strategic Roadmap, which describes EPA's whole-of-Agency approach to addressing PFAS. This presentation provides an update on EPA's PFAS research and development activities, including research and development activities described in EPA's PFAS Strategic Roadmap, and will be presented to the Tribal PFAS Working Group on April 11, 2024.
