Impact/Purpose:
This presentation was requested and will be hosted by IPIECA, "The global oil and gas association for advancing environmental and social performance across the energy transition". An overview of the Supply Chain GHG Emission Factors for their use in GHG reporting. The models behind the factors are described and some guidance on their use is provided. Notes on future plans are provided. EPA will continue to participate in revisions to the GHG Protocol standards and provide input into related international standards or guidance that could affect the use of the Supply Chain Factors or the methods used to create them.
