Impact/Purpose:
The OECD is investigating whether or not to regulate chemical disruptors to the retinoid pathway. A committee has been formed to write a document describing the pathway. In order to help with that projects, this literature mining tool was constructed. The tool will significantly reduce the time used in researching the published literature.
Description:
This text-mining/literature-mining tool was built to support the writing of a draft Review Paper on the Retinoid System for the OECD Test Guidelines Programme. The tool gathers and allows navigation through the concepts (biological and chemical) related to retinoid activity in male reproductive development. It should allow the team members to research more effectively.
