Impact/Purpose:

The Cooperative Science and Monitoring Initiative (CSMI) survey of Lake Erie in 2019 was part of a binational effort mandated under the 2012 Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement Annex 10. The CSMI has a 5-year cycle for addressing the science priorities established by the Lake Partnerships for each of the 5 Great Lakes. These data sets provide lakes’ managers, scientists, and the public with selected field and lab data collected by the US Environmental Protection Agency (Office of Research and Development and the Great Lakes National Program Office), Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and university cooperators. These data sets do not include all the data collected for the project. Although some of these data also may appear in other data repositories associated with project reports or publications, the purpose here is to provide the data for further analysis.
