Impact/Purpose:
The purpose of this presentation is to present an overview of FY23 progress to the SSWR HAB Research Advisory Committee (RAC) on the work of SSWR.404.2 Management of HABs in the Built and Natural Environment. This presentation contains information on early bloom interventions, real-time evaluation of cyanobacterial cell status using fluorescence instrumentation, nutrient adsorbing media, anatoxin removal during water treatment, and the recovery of cyanobacterial toxins from drinking water treatment sludges.
