Impact/Purpose:
The purpose of this presentation is to share OH children's blood lead results from 2005-2018 with the Ohio Department of Health and ask for their input/feedback. The methodology is based on the recent ORD publication from MI by Xue et al. 2022, "A Generalizable Evaluated Approach, Applying Advanced Geospatial Statistical Methods, to Identify High Lead Exposure Locations at Census Tract Scale: Michigan Case Study." Region 5 (Kathy Triantafillou) set up the meeting.
Description:
The results from the ORD analysis of children's blood lead from Ohio are consisent with what we observed for MI. A manuscript is under development.
