Citation:
Hilborn, E. Characterization of Cyanobacteria-Associated Aerosols at Fish Ponds in the Southeastern United States -A Work in Progress-. Interagency Freshwater HAB R&D Workshop, NA, NC, March 29 - 31, 2022.
Impact/Purpose:
Cyanobacteria-associated aerosols are of great interest to the Office of Water and among cyanobacteria harmful algal bloom (cHAB) impacted stakeholders. Personnel from the US Army Corps of Engineers encounter cHABs among the lakes they manage and are interested in learning about the state of the science for cHAB-associated aerosols. They invited us to describe our current work on this topic. We describe our work in progress: SSWR 4.1.3.
Description:
A brief overview of methods used to measure microcystins next to ponds contaminated with microcystin-producing cHABs.
