The presentation provides undergraduate students with perspective about potential research career prospectives with the USEPA Office of Research and Development.

Description:

The presentation provides an overview of educational paths that align with environmental remediation research positions within the USEPA Office of Research and Development.  An overview is provided for the organizational structure of the USEPA and how research conducted within to Office of Research and Development integrates with the development of regulations and policies at the national level and enforcement of regulations at the regional level.  An example is provided to illustrate how research conducted by the Office of Research and Development has contributed to restoration at a site impacted by groundwater contamination.
