CyANWeb User’s Guide

Impact/Purpose:

The target audience of CyANWeb includes state and local water quality managers and public health officials needing assistance to make faster and better-informed management decisions to mitigate cyanobacterial algal blooms. Additionally, the intended audience includes EPA Regions and researchers and others in academia and non-governmental organizations who may be interested in detecting and quantifying cyanobacterial blooms as well as monitoring them over time.

Description:

CyANWeb is a browser-based interface that has been tested and targeted for desktop/laptop browsers. It is certainly possible to use smaller devices to access the web interface (e.g., smart phones and tablets). This document’s screenshot images show how the CyANWeb interface looks on desktop/laptop browsers. Content in screenshots will appeardifferently on smaller device browsers but have the same functionality.Supported browsers includeChrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.Issues have been identified with Edge (some versions may work,others not), andthere isno plan to support Internet Explorer. CyANWeb is available to any user.
