Citation:

Keithley, A., D. Lytle, D. Williams, AND N. Dugan. Biological Treatment of Groundwater for Small Systems. Tribal Science Council, Cincinnati, OH, July 25 - 27, 2023.

Impact/Purpose:

Small systems need sustainable, low-cost, easy-to-operate treatment systems to address common groundwater contaminants, such as nitrate, arsenic, manganese, iron, and ammonia. This presentation presents treatment performance data from aerobic and anoxic bioreactors operating in the lab and the field. It may be of interest to water system operators, engineers, and regulators.
