HTAPv3 Initial Application in Hemispheric CMAQ

Impact/Purpose:

The CMAQv5.3.2 model uses the Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution (HTAPv2) emissions. In this study, model-ready emissions were prepared using HTAPv3 emissions and used in the hemispheric CMAQv5.3.2 model. Model simulations were performed for 2020 and results were  compared to available observed data. CMAQv5.3.2 model with HTAPv3 emissions performed reasonably well.

Description:
