Impact/Purpose:
This is a pre-brief presentation intended to update participants on important logistical information regarding Data TTX. The Data TTX is a a dynamic tabletop event to exercise an EmergencAI Tool and simulate and observe how data are generated, managed, used, and communicated during an incident.
Description:
In support of EPA’s Homeland Security Research Program (HSRP), in association with the DHS/EPA sponsored Analysis for Coastal Operational Resiliency (AnCOR) Project, EPA will be hosting a “DataTop” – a unique event to: Exercise a new, artificial intelligence (AI)-based tool to generate TTX-scenarios Evaluate proxy data and data management strategies Simulate and observe how data are generated, managed, used, and communicated during an event Unlike traditional TTXs, this event will include a dynamic element whereby scenarios will be generated in real-time. Participants will be engaged to think through solutions (hack-a-thon like) based on information that is dynamically generated during the event. In addition to exercising and gaining feedback on EPA’s new EmergencAI Tool, EPA also aims to observe what tools could be used and how data are generated, managed, assessed, and communicated in support of different response phases. Emphasis will be placed on communicating data and information across the response spectrum.
