To present an approach to prepare Consumption-based GHG Inventories for US States to NEWMOA's Climate and Materials Workgroup composed of representatives from NE state EPAs in a meeting moderating by NEWMOA and R1.
Description:
Consumption-based GHG inventories are similar to traditional territorial GHGs but they are include GHG emissions embodied in goods and services that are imported into the states. This presentation provides an overview of how they can be prepared using USEEIO state models in concert with state territorial GHG inventories and GHG emissions factors for imports.
