The purpose of this poster is to provide the community of GCAM modelers with a summery of the objectives and status of the GLIMPSE project.
Description:
The primary objective of the GLIMPSE project is to improve long-term, integrated air, climate, and energy planning through a model-based decision support tool built on the Global Change Analysis Model (GCAM). GLIMPSE makes GCAM accessible to a broader audience, including to governmental and nongovernmental organizations, unviversity researchers, and university instructors. GLIMPSE supports both new and experienced modelers, facilitating implementation of policies, development of scenarios, run management, quality assurance, and analysis and visualization of model results.
