Impact/Purpose:

This presentation will provide a basic summary of CSO management and control to senior environmental engineering students.

Description:

Combined sewer overflows exist in over 700 communities in the United States.  The characterization, management and control of these challenging wastewater discharges poses significant challenges.  This presentation provides a summary of these challenges and discusses innovative approaches and technologies that can be applied to CSOs.
