Impact/Purpose:
This presentation is part of a webinar discussion with the OEHHA office within the California EPA on the systematic review approaches used by NCEA to develop chemical assessments. The slide content focuses largely on the application of specialized software tools, which is a current area of interest for California EPA.
Description:
NCEA uses modular systematic review methods and interoperable tools to add transparency and reproducibility to assessment development. The modular nature allows for assessment-specific flexibility (e.g., depending on stakeholder needs) and efficiency across multi-person teams. This presentation was developed at the request of California EPA staff interested in the application of systematic review to chemical health assessments.
