Impact/Purpose:
This presentation is part of a review of the Safe and Sustainable Water Research Program Research Areas 1-3 by the Board of Scientific Counselors. It describes research conducted under Outputs 2 and 3 under SSWR Research Area 3 that will contribute to the development of human health and ecological water quality criteria of the Office of Water, but no new research results are presented.
Description:
This presentation introduces research conducted under Research Area 3 of the Safe and Sustainable Water Research Program and broadly describes research plans/activities under Outputs 2 and 3 of this Research Area. Output 2 involves research in support of development of human health criteria by the U.S. EPA Office of Water, while Output 3 similarly contributes to aquatic life criteria. Several components of the efforts under each Output are described.
