To provide an overview of the open source tool ecosystem supporting current LCA work at EPA and discuss needs related to the Federal LCA Commons.
Description:
An snapshot of some of the tools being developed and used primarily for life cycle assessment but also for other purposes. The tools are used to process primary data, build models, and serve program office and other interfaces and external tools. Tools including StEWI, fedelemflowlist, LCIAformatter, useeior, USEEIO API, ElectricityLCI, stateior, and flowsa are briefly described, and some proposed plans for expansion and increased connectivity of tools are shared.
