Impact/Purpose:
SAPs are used to document the criteria for sampling and analysis activities and associated quality of the results. This presentation will give an overview of the SAP purpose as well as existing SAP resources for biological sampling and analysis following a contamination incident for the Virtual Biological Sampling Design and Implementation Workshop being held September 15, 2020. This presentation will help the attendees be become better prepared for designing a SAP during a contamination incident.

This presentation will be presented at the Virtual Biological Sampling Design and Implementation Workshop being held September 15, 2020. The presentation discusses development and the purpose of Sampling and Analysis plans (SAPs) that are to be developed as part of sampling and analysis efforts for a contamination incident involving a pathogen. It will also provide information on several existing SAP resources. This presentation will help the attendees be become better prepared for designing a SAP during an environmental contamination incident involving a pathogen.
