WERKEMA, D. D., S. D. ACREE, R. R. ROSS, AND R. G. FORD. Cost Effective Tools for Assessment of Infiltration at Green Infrastructure Stormwater Management Sites. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, DC, EPA/600/F-19/141, 2019.

Impact/Purpose:

The technology summary will raise awareness of the cost-effective monitoring tools available to practitioners for the design and construction of infiltrationbased green infrastructure systems and municipal governments tasked with monitoring sustained performance of these systems.

Description:

The product highlights cost-effective tools that can be used to monitor the performance of green infrastructure designs that manage stormwater flow through infiltration into the shallow subsurface. The information from this monitoring effort also provides technical feedback that can be used to modify design characteristics to enhance performance and better constrain model-based design tools.
