An overview of EPA/ORD’s Pb research efforts supporting the Federal Action Plan to Reduce Childhood Lead Exposures and Associated Health Impacts.

Description:

As EPA works with its federal partners to better coordinate activities and implement the overall federal effort to reduce childhood lead exposures and associated health impacts, the Agency is continuing its efforts to reduce lead exposures as described under the following goals:Goal 1: Reduce Children’s Exposure to Lead SourcesGoal 2: Identify Lead-Exposed Children and Improve their Health OutcomesGoal 3: Communicate More Effectively with StakeholdersGoal 4: Support and Conduct Critical Research to Inform Efforts to Reduce Lead Exposures and Related Health Risks. This presentation gives an overview of ORD Pb science supporting Goal 4 and other Goals.
