Slide Deck for presentations to US Embassy staff in Warsaw, Poland as well as Polish officials and stakeholders for air quality issues. Air pollution has been shown to impact human health and the environment. For residents in many countries throughout the world, air pollution levels can be extreme, leading to both short-term and long-term health effects. This presentation provides an overview of the health risks from exposures to ambient air pollution. In addition, mitigation strategies individuals can take to reduce their exposures are presented along with actions that can be implemented in communities.
