Impact/Purpose:
This is a follow-up to the EPA Water Quality Modeling webinar on WMOST. This series included nine different training webinars designed to support users in applying EPA's Watershed Management Optimization Support Tool v3 to their own case study.
Description:
Session 1: Generating initial hydrology and water quality time series using HAWQS (SWAT). Session 2: Using pre-processor with SWAT or HSPF model outputs to create WMOST input files and using SWMM to generate time series for WMOST. Session 3: Problem definition and the WMOST conceptual model for WMOST. Session 4: Baseline hydrology/water quality module and calibration. Session 5: Stormwater and alternative BMPs module. Session 6: Water demand and infrastructure modules. Session 7: Optimization with NEOS and troubleshooting. Session 8: Scenarios and scenario comparisons with HCAM. And Session 9: Sharing results from case studies.
