Impact/Purpose:
Session proposal abstract for 2019 Society of Toxicology annual meeting
Description:
Read-across is a well-established data gap filling technique used within analogue and category approaches. There are several steps in the category workflow starting from analogue identification, analogue evaluation, data gap filling through to uncertainty assessment. There are a number of read-across tools available, each of which addresses one or more steps of this category workflow. Examples include the OECD Toolbox, ToxRead, Generalised Read-across (GenRA). This presentation will walk through GenRA in more detail to demonstrate how to apply it in practice to make specific read-across predictions for different decision contexts. This abstract does not reflect EPA policy.
