Description:
The Guidance for Product Category Rule Development was written by an initiative created by the ACLCA PCR Committee and co-led by USEPA. It was published in 2013. Since that time there has been wide uptake of the Guidance by North American and other internal program operators for Environmental Product Declarations, as well as direct use by industry associations, the European Common's Product Environmental Footprint program, and others. The ACLCA PCR Committee initiated the PCR Guidance effort and is now the steward of this document, and has organized a special session to elicit feedback from the community on the next steps. Wesley Ingwersen, as the former co-lead of the initiative and lead author of the Guidance document, will present a background.
