Impact/Purpose:
This is a lecture for a Continuing Education Course at The Society of Toxicology 2019 Annual Meeting. The Course is on evaluation of the developing skeleton for regulatory testing, and this talk includes discussion of guidelines and legislation related to evaluation the toxicity of environmental agents to the developing skeleton. It covers briefly how this is currently done and new alternative methods to evaluating the potential for adverse effects on skeletal development.
