Impact/Purpose:
The Air Quality Model Evaluation International Initiative (AQMEII) provides an important opportunity to evaluate and compare the CMAQ model with other models used both in North America and Europe. The focus in phase 4 on deposition provides additional information that will allow further examination of the uncertainty in deposition values and the impact of those uncertainties on critical load assessments.
Description:
This presentation will be delivered at the NADP Total Deposition (TDep) Science Committee meeting on November 5, 2018. The purpose of the presentation is to make TDep community aware of the upcoming model intercomparison study and to solicit information on additional data sets that should be included or additional model outputs that would be useful to support ecological assessments.
