Impact/Purpose:

EPANET is a widely used desktop software application for simulating the hydraulic and water quality behavior of drinking water distribution systems. EPANET is used to plan and design $Billions in drinking water infrastructure across the US and around the world.

Description:

To better support EPANET stakeholders and the needs of the water community, EPA has initiated an open source software (OSS) project to advance and maintain EPANET.
