Sams, R. CompTox Dashboard: Data and Tools to Support Chemical and Environmental Risk Assessment. Presented at EPA Tools and Resources Webinar, Washington, DC, August 22, 2018. https://doi.org/10.23645/epacomptox.7144424
Impact/Purpose:
This presentation gave an overview of the multiple dashboards and a live demo of the latest version of the EPA's CompTox Dashboard, which are an integrated hub of multiple modules and tools to find human and ecological hazard data, exposure data, specialized searches, with high quality data from ongoing curation efforts.
Description:
The initial approach of the EPA National Center for Computational Toxicology was to develop a 'one stop shop' for environmental chemical data to support EPA and partner decision making in a centralized location, with a combination of existing data and predictive models that would be publicly accessible, periodically updated and curated. The results include the EPA's CompTox Dashboard, with data on 760,000 chemicals and access to multiple tools for efficiency and chemical risk assessment.
