This presentation is part of a panel to discuss recently revised regulations for human subjects research. In particular, a new category of exempt research that involves "Limited IRB Review." The objectives for my component are to (1) highlight some of the potential pitfalls and unintended consequences of this new regulatory option, and (2) identify ways to proactively minimize these negative consequences.
