Impact/Purpose:

The Children's Environmental Health and Disease Prevention Research Centers Impact Report is an APR for the EPA Sustainable and Healthy Communities (SHC) Research Program. The objective of this report is to translate research findings from these jointly funded centers for stakeholders.

Description:

In 1997, EPA and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) partnered to form the Children's Environmental Health and Disease Prevention Research Centers. This impact report summarizes the history of the program, scientific findings since the program's inception, and impacts of program on public health.
