Impact/Purpose:

This presentation will be given in a career development session organized by the Society of Toxicology Postdoctoral Fellows Association. The purpose of this presentation is to share key leadership skills that I have learned over my career and why they are important.

Description:

The presentation will be presented chronologically, highlighting three phases of my career: 1) Principle Investigator; 2) Research Center Leadership; 3) National Laboratory Leadership. In each phase, I describe critical leadership skills that were learned and were particularly important for that period.
