Create a Sustainability Assessment Toolbox for US ports that: • Addresses multiple issues faced by ports • Builds on work from other EPA Research Programs • Complements other resiliency work from federal and NGO partners, e.g.: EPA’s Office of Transportation Air Quality Ports Initiative Primers; NOAA Resilient Coasts; USACE Systems Approach to Geomorphic Engineering (SAGE); TNC Coastal Resiliency Project. • Improves Understanding of how the Built and Natural Environment Together Affect Resiliency • Facilitates Decision‐making by Identifying Linkages/Synergies, Value of Information
