Impact/Purpose:

This pilot project was designed to confirm that an FTIR could generate useful real-time data for non-regulated tailpipe emissions of concern to the EPA. This ability to generate useful modal data could be demonstrated if the mode shapes of regulated emissions measured by reference methods corroborated the mode shapes generated by the FTIR.
