The effectiveness of measures taken to maintain and restore the biological integrity of the Nation's surface waters is dependent upon our knowledge of the toxicity of pollutants and their effects on the species composition, and abundance of aquatic life in receiving waters. This bibliography was compiled to assist aquatic biologists in keeping abreast of the most recent developments in aquatic toxicology.
