Impact/Purpose:
The contractor will identify a group of four independent peer reviewers and facilitate each member’s review and comment on the FEV report. Two of these same experts shall also be tasked to provide a detailed evaluation of the CAE model(s).
Description:
The contractor will conduct an independent peer review of FEV’s light-duty truck (LDT) mass safety study, “Light-Duty Vehicle Weight Reduction Study with Crash Model, Feasibility and Detailed Cost Analysis – Silverado 1500”, and its corresponding computer-aided engineering (CAE) models. The report provides a design and cost analysis for light weighting a LDT.
