Impact/Purpose:
The objective of this project was to develop and test a standardized Persistence and Decontamination Experimental Design Protocol (PDEDP) that could be used across laboratories to perform drinking water pipe decontamination research. Many priority contaminants have not yet been studied and the use of such a model would permit increased confidence, continuity, and comparability of results across studies.
