Description:

A national-scale analysis of potential changes in monetary damages from flooding under climate change. The approach uses empirically based statistical relationships between historical precipitation and flood damage records from 18 hydrologic regions of the United States, along with potential changes in precipitation under a changing climate, to estimate future monetary damages in flooding under climate change.
