Citation:

LYTLE, D. A. U.S. EPA Lead and Copper Corrosion Research Program Update. Presented at NACE WaterCorr Seminar Web Series, Houston, TX, January 12, 2010.

Impact/Purpose:

To inform the public.

Description:

The Lead and Copper Rule was established to reduce lead and copper in consumer’s tap water. As a result a great deal of work has been conducted by U.S. EPA researchers, and others, in support of the Rule. Despite that work, there are still needs and related issues that are not well understood and require further research. This presentation will highlight the latest in U.S. EPA research activities associated with lead and copper corrosion and solubility research.
