Impact/Purpose:
Proposing the changes to align the goals of resource protection with the specifics of resource monitoring as practiced in the USVI. Namely, formal adoption of narrative biological criteria into the USVI’s water quality standards; field testing of biological indicators of reef condition, and a probabilistic survey design to determine the current status of coral reefs and to track trends in biological condition through time.
