Description:

Phthalate diesters (PEs) are high-production chemicals used to impart flexibiliyt to pllyvinylchloride products. Humans are ubiquitously exposed to these chemicals. Certain PEs are reporductive toxicants in laboratory rats. This presentation will review the effects and mechanisms of action of PEs on male reproductive development in the rat and possible implications for human reproductive health.
