Preliminary Steps Towards Integrating Climate and Land Use (ICLUS): the Development of Land-Use Scenarios Consistent with Climate Change Emissions Storylines (2008, External Review Draft)
EPA is announcing the release of the draft report entitled,"Preliminary Steps Towards Integrating Climate and Land Use: The Development of Land-Use Scenarios Consistent with Climate Change Emissions Storyline" in the July 25 Federal Register Notice. This draft document is provided for public viewing and comment. Public comments received on the draft assessment within the external review period will be compiled and provided to the peer review panel for their consideration. Any comments not received within the requested time period will be considered by EPA in their revisions.

The products will support integrated regional assessments of the impacts of climate and land use change on water quality, ecosystems, human health, and air quality.
Description:
This report was prepared by the Global Change Research Program (GCRP) in the National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) of the Office of Research and Development (ORD) at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This draft report is a description of the methods used to generate scenarios of housing-density changes by decade to the year 2100.
